    Job Description
    Randolph Arts Guild is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as Executive Director.   This position will be responsible for implementing the organization’s strategic goals, fundraising initiatives, writing grant applications, supervising program activities, leading the day-to-day administrative functions, and ensuring staff and volunteers are in place to meet operational needs. The job requires exceptional management, organizational, and communication skills, plus the ability to represent the RAG with artists, community and governmental organizations and officials, donors and the general public.
     
    Key responsibilities include:
     
    • Hiring and evaluation of staff.
    • Assisting in recruiting and training volunteers and board members.
    • Overseeing the daily activities/operations of the RAG.
    • Providing fiscal and financial oversight for the organization.
    • Developing and administering fundraising, membership and marketing efforts and grant writing.
    • Organizing, planning and executing organization events and exhibits.
    • Implementing strategic initiatives as outlined by the Board
    • Recommending program initiatives and directing implementation of the annual program plan.
    • Representing the RAG at official functions.
    • Serving as liaison to local government, partner organizations and the arts community
    • Collaboration with the Board of Directors and committee chairs.
     
    Education and Experience:
     
    • High School diploma with a minimum of seven years’ experience or Associates Degree with a minimum of five years’ experience. 
    • Experience in the nonprofit industry and working with and being supervised by a Board of Directors.
    • Evident passion for and appreciation of arts and culture.
