Asheboro Police Department Officer Benefit

Detective Leah Burnette was diagnosed with Leukemia on November 15, 2023. Leah has been out of work for a year, and she is expected to be out an indefinite period of time. Leah's APD family are planning a fundraiser to help with expenses related to her fight with cancer. If you are able, please consider purchasing tickets to the hotdog lunch fundraiser scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024. The to-go orders will be ready for pickup at Sunset Avenue Church of God from 10:30 - 1:30. We are selling tickets to get a good estimate of how much food to purchase, but we will also be selling plates on site December 5th. Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: Asheboro Fire & Rescue Department - 401 S. Church Street Randolph County Sheriff's Office - 727 McDowell Rd Asheboro Police Department - 205 E. Academy Street If co-workers in your department are wanting to purchase multiple tickets, or you know of a business, organization, or individual wanting to purchase multiple tickets, we can arrange a delivery of those tickets and pick up the payment/donation.
